‘Hero’ first day collection: Grossed Rs 6.50-6.75 crore net.

Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty's debut movie, Hero, had a decent first day as it grossed around Rs 6.50 - 6.75 crore nett. 

The collections were better in the mass-oriented circuits with multiplex dominated areas contributing less. Interestingly, Mumbai circuit managed to touch the Rs 2 crore nett. mark. 

Saturday collections are expected to be good considering the massive promotions for the film by Salman Khan. Despite featuring newcomers, Salman Khan's promotional strategy seems to have helped the movie open to a good response at the ticket windows.
