Asian singer LuHan increases record for most comments on a Weibo post by 87 million

Chines singer and actor LuHan (China) has just made social media history for the second time by breaking his own record for the Most comments on a Weibo™ post. 

 

Published on 10 September 2012 celebrating the singer’s favourite football team, English Premier League side Manchester United, the video post first achieved the record on 5 August 2012 after registering a staggering 13,163,859 comments.

 

As of 2 September 2015, the same post had clocked up 100,252,605 responses (and counting), having risen by an unbelievable 87,088,746 comments – evidence of singer/dancer/actor LuHan’s ever-growing popularity.

 

When the record was confirmed by Sina Weibo, the nearest challenger had a comparatively insignificant 28,196,866 comments.

 

The members are split into EXO-K which promotes music in South Korea, and EXO-M which releases music in mainland China.
